Job summary

JobSquad Solutions Team is seeking a Maintenance Tech for ALL SHIFTS in Bedford Park, IL. This direct-hire role offers $26 per hour with a 40-hour week and on-site work. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, ensuring GMP compliance and safe operations across multiple shifts.

The successful candidate will perform preventive maintenance, read manuals/work orders, and coordinate parts and scheduling to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic maintenance.
• Proficient reading of equipment manuals and work orders.
• Strong safety awareness and GMP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform scheduled, unscheduled, and emergency maintenance.
• Carry out preventive maintenance with documentation for PMs.
• Read manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance.
• Diagnose issues, replace parts, test and adjust as needed.
• Ensure work is performed safely and follows GMP guidelines.

Job Description:

Job Squad is looking for Maintenance Tech for ALL Shifts in Bedford Park, IL for our food manufacturing partner. This is a direct hire role with the company

Main Responsibilities:

• Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting, and repair of machines, equipment and plant facilities
• Includes scheduled, unscheduled or emergency repairs.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance which also includes maintaining supporting documentation for the PM’s.
• Welding and fabrication, full understanding of 3 Phase electrical, tree phase motor controls.
• Troubleshoot AC & DC drives.
• Conduct maintenance according to skill level and pursuant to safety policies and procedures.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make-adjustments.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those unusual situations to the facility maintenance manager.
• Utilizing Microsoft Office, order and schedule parts as well as jobs.
• Perform work in a safe manner and use Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
