Job summary

JBS USA is seeking an hourly Maintenance Tech for 2nd shift. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining production line electrical/electromechanical equipment in a fast-paced facility.

Experience with PLCs, NEC wiring, and high-voltage work is preferred, with a willingness to work flexible hours as needed. The position offers competitive pay starting at $28–$40 per hour, with benefits including vacation, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) and other programs.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical background with high-speed production line experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and install/repair electrical equipment per NEC.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with PLC controls and drive systems.
• Willing to work unscheduled hours during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production line equipment.
• Inspect and maintain electromechanical and electrical equipment.
• Install and wire new electrical equipment per NEC and standards.
• Maintain electrical and control systems for facilities and equipment.
• Perform high voltage switching and operate generators as needed.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to install and calibrate equipment.
• Maintain safety procedures and keep records.
