Job summary

Miller’s Textile Services is hiring a full‑time Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Wapakoneta, Ohio. The role covers maintenance of production equipment and facility upkeep on a 4‑10 schedule (Mon–Thu, 12:00 pm–10:30 pm).

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, at least 3 years of related experience, and the ability to diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Welding is a plus; a background check and pre‑employment drug screen are required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Technical/trade certification is a plus; related degree a bonus.
Minimum of 3 years related work experience.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot production equipment.
Able to climb, kneel, crouch, stand, walk, and use hands to work on equipment.
Working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
Welding experience preferred.
Good communication and people skills.
Detail-oriented and able to multitask and work independently.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

Routine maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment.
Preventive maintenance and cleaning of production equipment.
Ensure maintenance checklists and logs are completed accurately and timely.
Ensure building and grounds are maintained.
Assist outside contractors with equipment installs/repairs as necessary.
Work with the production team to improve production efficiencies.
Other related duties as assigned to support the Maintenance and Production teams.
