Miller’s Textile Services is hiring a full‑time Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Wapakoneta, Ohio. The role covers maintenance of production equipment and facility upkeep on a 4‑10 schedule (Mon–Thu, 12:00 pm–10:30 pm).

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, at least 3 years of related experience, and the ability to diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Welding is a plus; a background check and pre‑employment drug screen are required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical/trade certification is a plus; related degree a bonus.
• Minimum of 3 years related work experience.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Able to climb, kneel, crouch, stand, walk, and use hands to work on equipment.
• Working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Good communication and people skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask and work independently.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Aufgaben

• Routine maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment.
• Preventive maintenance and cleaning of production equipment.
• Ensure maintenance checklists and logs are completed accurately and timely.
• Ensure building and grounds are maintained.
• Assist outside contractors with equipment installs/repairs as necessary.
• Work with the production team to improve production efficiencies.
• Other related duties as assigned to support the Maintenance and Production teams.
