Job summary

Radial, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Tech I to maintain the facility and equipment, perform minor repairs, and assist in maintenance tasks to ensure continuous operation. The role supports the Facilities Tech II/III in achieving product flow and operational goals within Fulfillment Operations.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, with 0-2 years in a maintenance capacity. Preference for an AAS in engineering or related experience, plus familiarity with Allen Bradley/Siemens

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• AAS in Engineering related field preferred or experience in lieu of degree.
• Prior knowledge of Allen Bradley and/or Siemens products is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance, janitorial tasks, and general duties as assigned.

Job description

The Facilities Tech I is responsible for minor repairs, assisting in maintenance, janitorial functions, and general duties. The tech represents and follows outlined company guidelines for general work practices and performs assigned duties in accordance with proper safe work practices. The Facilities Tech I will assist Facilities Tech II and III with the product flow and operational goals to effectively support the Fulfillment Operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain facility and equipment for continuous operation and required repairs. Responsible for minor repairs, assisting in maintenance, janitorial duties, and general duties as assigned. Adhere to all safety/security procedures and applicable laws. Cleaning and other Preventative Maintenance tasks for equipment including conveyor systems. Repair of conveyor belts, motors, rollers, beds and guides. Assist with Facilities maintenance and repairs including plumbing, lighting, roofing, HVAC and other as needed or directed. Assists with maintaining inventory of company supplied tools. Must be willing and able to be certified on powered industrial equipment. Working at heights of 40ft or more will be required. Have a general knowledge of the operation of all equipment in the facility. Performs general facility maintenance such as light bulb replacement, office furniture relocation, plumbing, electrical repairs, etc. Work various shifts and/or hours as needed to support the facility’s needs. Overtime/Weekends as needed or directed. Other duties as instructed by supervision/management.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED preferred. Will also consider experience and/or military service. Knowledge in maintenance of equipment and facilities 0-2 years of experience in a maintenance capacity

Preferred Qualifications:

AAS in an Engineering related field or experience in lieu of degree Preferred prior experience and/or working Knowledge of Allen Bradley and/or Siemens products Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Previous industry-based experience.

Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Demands:

Must possess visual acuity to read fine print as needed. Must be able to hear and understand verbal instructions. Must possess capability to walk or stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds. Must be able to push or pull carts of up to 200 pounds. Must be able to climb stairs. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel and grasp products.

Travel:

• This position is not remote.
