Job summary

Aspire Bakeries USA is seeking a Maintenance Technician at our Alsip, IL bakery. You will perform preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance on bakery equipment to ensure safe, reliable operations that support continuous production and food quality.

Shift: 2nd, 2PM–10:30PM; weekend availability required. Hourly rate $20–$28. You will assist production teams, troubleshoot equipment, and document activities in the CMMS while maintaining GMP-compliant, clean work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of mechanical/electrical experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to work safely around moving equipment and in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance on bakery equipment to minimize downtime and support safe, reliable operation.
• Assist production teams in diagnosing equipment malfunctions and verify equipment readiness after repairs, changeovers, or downtime.
• Coordinate work with bakery personnel and escort external contractors to minimize disruption to production and maintenance schedules.
• Document maintenance activities and findings in the Maintenance Management System and maintain a clean, safe work area.
