Job summary

Rust Belt Recruiting is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for Austintown, OH, with a 3rd shift from 10pm to 6am (Mon-Fri) and a 2nd shift option.

You will oversee machinery upkeep, inspect and repair CNC equipment, and ensure safe, reliable operations across the facility.

Competitive pay is $30-$35 per hour plus comprehensive benefits starting on day one.

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge with ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
• PLC experience is a plus.
• Basic electrical wiring capabilities and understanding.
• 3-4 years mechanical maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical repairs to CNC and other manufacturing equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Install and commission new equipment.
• Clean, adjust, repair, and replace components of manufacturing equipment.
• Operate overhead and mobile equipment as needed during repairs.

Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Austintown, OH

Maintenance TechnicianRole:

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician who has a mechanical mindset and is meticulous in their work. This person will oversee the general upkeep of the machinery and its infrastructure to maintain manufacturing operations and ensure that the facility is safe and functional at all times. They will inspect, repair, construct, adjust, modify and service all types of equipment throughout the facility, ensure safety and identify discrepancies that could indicate machinery issues.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Manage technical repairs to manufacturing equipment (mostly CNC machines)
• Manage routine maintenance and emergency repairs
• Install new equipment
• Clean, adjust, repair, and replace components of manufacturing equipment
• Operate overhead any mobile equipment required in conjunction with repair of the equipment

About you:

• Mechanical knowledge to address basic troubleshooting of various manufacturing equipment (PLC experience a plus)
• Basic electrical wiring capabilities and understanding
• 3-4 years mechanical maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment
