Job summary

The Advance Group Staffing in Toledo, OH seeks a Maintenance Technician for a steady first-shift role. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, pumps, and facility systems to keep operations running reliably and safely.

You’ll troubleshoot mechanical equipment, perform basic electrical repairs up to 220 volts, and assist with welding and light fabrication. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience required.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Experience repairing pumps, piping, production equipment, and facility systems preferred.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting up to 220 volts.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, pumps, heaters, and facility equipment.
• Install, repair, and maintain pumps, piping, plumbing, and other production systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and perform basic electrical repairs on equipment up to 220 volts.
• Assist with welding and light fabrication projects, including repairing tanks and building equipment as needed.
• Perform routine inspections to identify maintenance needs before equipment failures occur.

Job duties for Maintenance Technician:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, plating tanks, pumps, heaters, and facility equipment.
• Install, repair, and maintain pumps, piping, plumbing, and other production systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and perform basic electrical repairs on equipment up to 220 volts.
• Assist with welding and light fabrication projects, including repairing tanks and building equipment as needed.
• Perform routine inspections to identify maintenance needs before equipment failures occur.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
• Climb ladders and work throughout the facility to complete maintenance projects.
• Perform general facility repairs and assist with equipment installations.
• Follow all safety procedures while working around industrial equipment and chemical processing systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Complete other maintenance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements for Maintenance Technicians:

• Previous industrial maintenance experience required.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Experience repairing pumps, piping, production equipment, and facility systems preferred.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience (up to 220 volts).
• Welding and light fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to climb ladders and perform the physical demands of the position.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Reliable attendance and dependable work history required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High School Diploma/GED

Shift for Maintenance Technician:

• Monday-Friday
• 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
• Average of 45-50 hours per week
• Overtime available as needed

Pay for Maintenance Technician:

Starting pay of approximately $25.00/hour, based on experience.
