Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for the Austintown, OH facility. This role supports the upkeep of manufacturing machinery to keep operations safe and functional, with duties including inspection, repair, and service of equipment across the plant.

The successful candidate will have 3–4 years of mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing setting, basic electrical wiring skills, and ideally PLC experience.

Qualifications

• We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician with a mechanical mindset.
• 3-4 years mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Basic electrical wiring capabilities and understanding.
• PLC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical repairs to manufacturing equipment (mostly CNC machines).
• Manage routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Install new equipment.
• Clean, adjust, repair, and replace components of manufacturing equipment.
• Operate overhead or mobile equipment required in conjunction with repair of the equipment.

Title: Maintenance Technician

Shift: 3rd (10pm to 6am, M-F)

Also have 2nd shift

Pay: $30-$35/hr (+/- depending on experience)

Location: Austintown, OH

Maintenance Technician Role:

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician who has a mechanical mindset and is meticulous in their work. This person will oversee the general upkeep of the machinery and its infrastructure to maintain manufacturing operations and ensure that the facility is safe and functional at all times. They will inspect, repair, construct, adjust, modify and service all types of equipment throughout the facility, ensure safety and identify discrepancies that could indicate machinery issues.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Manage technical repairs to manufacturing equipment (mostly CNC machines)
• Manage routine maintenance and emergency repairs
• Install new equipment
• Clean, adjust, repair, and replace components of manufacturing equipment
• Operate overhead any mobile equipment required in conjunction with repair of the equipment

About you:

• Mechanical knowledge to address basic troubleshooting of various manufacturing equipment (PLC experience a plus)
• Basic electrical wiring capabilities and understanding
• 3-4 years mechanical maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment
