Job summary

QuickStaff is seeking a maintenance technician for a food manufacturing facility. The role covers troubleshooting and repairing production equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting HVAC and compressed air systems.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in industrial maintenance, especially in food processing environments. Responsibilities include collaborating with production and quality teams to ensure equipment meets operational and regulatory standards,

Qualifications

• 2 years of maintenance experience (food industry in manufacturing environment preferred)
• 5 years of comparable maintenance experience
• Mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, PLC's and pneumatics required
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical manuals required
• GMP, HACCP and food safety standards (preferred)
• Work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment including injection presses, conveyors, mixers, and packaging machines.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Maintain repair HVAC, chillers, dryers and compressed air systems.
• Support sanitation and food safety compliance.
• Document maintenance activities using CMMS software.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure equipment meets operational and regulatory standards.
• Follow up on maintenance tasks for resolution with key internal customers.

$20 to $41 hourly BOE. WEEKEND SHIFT Fri-Sun 5:15AM to 5:45PM.
Food manufacturing facility, committed to quality, safety and operational excellence.
Perform basic and advanced maintenance tasks including mechanical, electrical and utility systems. Strong technical background in industrial maintenance, specifically and preferred within food processing environments.
