Job summary

On-Board PMO is hiring a Maintenance Tech for our Stow, Ohio facility. The role is permanent full-time with a schedule of 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, plus weekends as required and on-call rotation. A full benefits package starts after 60 days.

You’ll support plant production equipment, office areas, and facility services. Responsibilities include maintenance of mechanical systems, electronics, wiring, pneumatics, and safety audits.

Qualifications

• Requires a High Scholl Diploma or GED, and a minimum of three years of experience in mechanical work.
• Ability to perform essential duties and use a variety of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist Facility Maintenance Lead with automated controls, testing equipment, instrumentation, machine controls wiring, building wiring, mechanical systems, hydraulics and pneumatics, machine tools and electrical systems up to 480 volts AC.
• Layout, install, modify, troubleshoot and maintain equipment such as machine tools, hydraulic molding presses, CNC machines and other general manufacturing machines.
• Provide production support and perform preventive maintenance and repairs; order parts as needed.

Type: Permanent Full Time

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Schedule: 7 am - 3:30 pm M-F, weekends as required by the client and on-call rotation.

Location: Stow, OH

Basic Function

Responsible for providing maintenance facility support at Stow Works. This support includes the plant production equipment, office areas, facility services, grounds, and building.

Responsibilities

• Assist Facility Maintenance Lead with automated controls, testing equipment, instrumentation, machine controls wiring, building wiring, mechanical systems, hydraulics and pneumatics, machine tools and electrical systems up to 480 volts AC.


• Effectively use a variety of hand and power tools, operate a forklift, read blueprints and schematics, review, and identify projects to be serviced by outside contractors, follow oral and/or written instructions, communicate effectively in both oral and written form, maintain work logs, and establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work assignments.


• Layout, install, modify, trouble shoot and maintain a wide variety of equipment such as machine tools, hydraulic molding presses, process ovens, CNC machines, and other general manufacturing type machines. Change light bulbs, filters, painting, changing faucets, and other duties as assign.


• Provide production support and perform preventive maintenance and repairs.


• Specify repair parts and maintenance repair services when needed.


• Perform general computer work such as Microsoft Office and Outlook.


• Participate in safety meetings, safety teams and perform safety audits.


• Follow safety procedures.

Organization Relationships

• Works regularly with shift production employees as well as Leadership throughout the DuPont and Contract Groups.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear.


• The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, and sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 55 pounds.


• The employee must be able to work at elevated heights such as on a ladder or scissors lift.


• The employee must have a valid driver’s license. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.


• Monday – Friday weekends as required by the client. On-call rotation


• Hours 7 am – 3:30pm Overtime as required including the weekend


• The employee must clear all prescreen qualifications prior to being hired


• Physical, Background and Drug Screen.
