Job summary

Superior Industries Inc is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Prescott Valley, AZ site. You will perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and facilities, troubleshoot issues, and document all work. You’ll source replacement parts, communicate with vendors, and help keep the yard and premises safe and orderly.

Day shift runs 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The role requires strong troubleshooting, teamwork, and adaptability to changing technologies and processes.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in PLC, VFD, electrical systems, CNC, robotics, weld equipment, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Willing to learn and adapt to changing technologies and needs.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate well and excel in a team environment.
• Willing to work flexible hours as needed.
• Foresight to complete work without guidance.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.

Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance: Organize, implement, and conduct preventative maintenance on production equipment and buildings.
• Repair Work: Perform troubleshooting and necessary repair work on production equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
• Maintenance Documentation: Record date, time, and details of maintenance work performed for tracking.
• Research parts and obtain quotes; communicate with vendors as needed.
• Facility Upkeep: Perform yard maintenance and snow removal to keep premises safe.
• Safe Equipment Operation: Operate equipment in a safe manner following regulations and policies.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Description

• Preventative Maintenance: Organize, implement, and conduct preventative maintenance on production equipment and buildings.
• Repair Work: Perform troubleshooting and necessary repair work on production equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
• Maintenance Documentation: Record the date, time, and details of maintenance work performed for accurate tracking and reporting.
• Research parts needed / get quotes and communicate with machine vendors when needed.
• Facility Upkeep: Perform yard maintenance and snow removal to ensure safe and clean premises as needed
• Safe Equipment Operation: Operate equipment in a 100% safe manner following appropriate regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned

Day Shift

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in the following- PLC, VFD, Electrical systems, CNC , Robotics , Weld equipment, Hydraulics, Air systems and pneumatic controls, Automotive , Machining
