Job summary

Superior Industries Inc. in Prescott Valley, AZ seeks an Industrial Electrician to install and troubleshoot electrical systems on our manufactured equipment. You will wire panels, perform tests, and ensure compliance with safety codes while supporting engineering improvements.

Qualifications

• Journeyman electrical license or associates degree in electrical or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and NEC codes.
• Experience with 480VAC and 24VDC circuits.
• Proficiency with electrical measuring instruments.
• Willingness to learn and use control software.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical components and troubleshoot electrical systems on equipment produced at the plant.
• Install electrical panels, switches, wiring and other components per engineering specs.
• Perform final electrical testing and documentation.
• Maintain build quality by verifying parts and assembly to print.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems with the engineering team.
• Provide hands-on electrical training to others in assembly.
• Assist with mechanical and hydraulic assembly tasks when needed.
• Provide feedback to engineering on design and process improvements.
• Ensure electrical equipment complies with safety codes and performance standards.
• Improve manufacturing systems related to electrical area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job DescriptionAn Industrial Electrician is responsible for completing the following duties:

• Install electrical components and troubleshoot electrical systems on equipment manufactured at the production plant
• Install electrical panels, switches, wiring, and other electrical components on manufactured equipment to engineering specifications
• Perform final electrical testing and documentation.
• Maintain build quality by verifying part and assembly to print
• Troubleshoot electrical systems with the engineering team
• Provide hands on electrical training to others in assembly
• Assist with mechanical and hydraulic assembly tasks when needed
• Provide feedback to engineering on design and process improvement opportunities
• Ensure that electrical equipment is installed per latest safety codes and best practice methods
• Electrical testing is completed and equipment is in compliance with performance standards
• Improve manufacturing systems\\processes related to electrical area
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrical license or Associates Degree in Electrical or equivalent experience
• Thorough understanding of:
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics
• Knowledge of 480VAC and 24 VDC circuits
• Ability to read and understand proper use of electrical measuring instruments
• Hand tools such as wire cutters, soldering tools, crimping tools, ect
• Understanding NEC code on manufactured equipment
• Experience or training with computers and ability to learn and use specific control software
