Executive Recruiting Consultants in Dell Rapids, SD, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a long-established Midwest manufacturer. This role leads maintenance operations and drives uptime across manufacturing equipment, facilities, and support systems.

You will develop preventive maintenance programs, troubleshoot complex equipment, supervise maintenance staff, and collaborate with production teams and external vendors to support continuous improvement and safer, more reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to develop and manage preventive maintenance programs.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations for manufacturing equipment, facilities, and support systems to maximize uptime and production efficiency.
• Develop and enhance preventive maintenance programs and schedules; coordinate repairs to minimize disruptions.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and automated production equipment.
• Supervise maintenance personnel; prioritize daily workloads and foster a safety-focused team environment.
• Partner with production teams and external vendors to resolve equipment issues and source parts.
• Maintain equipment inspections, maintenance records, and regulatory compliance; promote Lean principles.

The role you will play:

• Develop and enhance preventive maintenance programs, coordinating repairs and maintenance schedules to minimize operational disruptions.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and automated production equipment.
• Supervise maintenance personnel, prioritize daily workloads, and foster a collaborative, safety-focused team environment.
• Partner with production teams and external vendors to resolve equipment issues, source replacement parts, and support continuous operational improvements.
• Maintain equipment inspections, maintenance records, and regulatory compliance while promoting workplace safety and Lean manufacturing principles.
• Apply technical expertise in industrial maintenance, including PLC systems, blueprint interpretation, fabrication, welding, and the use of mechanical and power tools to support plant operations.
