Poplar Springs Hospital is seeking an energetic, driven, professional to join our Maintenance team. The maintenance technician will be able to identify customer groups both in and out of the hospital (contractors, vendors, patients, staff, physicians, etc.) and to perform job tasks and responsibilities in such a way as to exceed customer expectations. Perform a wide variety of general building maintenance repairs and services (ie: mechanical and preventative maintenance tasks, as well as inspections, servicing, repair and overhaul of equipment, vehicles and facilities of the hospital). Replace washers, faucets and seals on malfunctioning plumbing equipment; repair leaky faucets and clean clogged drains; install and repair sprinklers. Paint interior and exterior walls and cabinets; hang wallpaper and pictures; assemble furniture. Install light bulbs, doors, cabinets, paneling, formica, carpet, and bulletin boards. Other duties as assigned.
