Job summary

SBM Maintenance is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain diverse equipment across facilities. The role requires driving to multiple sites, strong problem-solving, and adherence to Lock Out/Tag Out safety standards.

Minimum experience includes six months in a similar environment or basic trades training, with electrical experience and a high school diploma or GED. Forklift certification may be needed.

Qualifications

• Six months minimum experience in a company environment or equivalent training.
• Two years Electrical Experience minimum.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and predictive maintenance.
• Perform general cleaning and maintains clean work area.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment, electrical & mechanical issues and repair.
• Maintain maintenance logs and schedules.
• Drive to various work locations as needed.
• Use hand and power tools, scissor lifts, ladders and scaffolding.
• Respond positively to requests in a timely manner.
• Familiar with Lock Out/Tag Out safety procedures.

# **Title:**Maintenance Tech# **Job Description:****NOW HIRING: Maintenance Technician****Compensation: $22.70-$23.70 per hour****This role will require the candidate to drive and must pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) requirements.** **Job Overview**The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for safely performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in one or more fields (carpentry, paint, electrical, janitorial equipment, HVAC, vehicle/golf cart etc.). **Roles & Responsibilities**To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.* Self-Starter with Leadership and problem-solving skills* Perform routine and predictive maintenance* Perform general cleaning and maintains clean work area* Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment, electrical & mechanical issues and then repair* Strong customer service skills* Comfortable communicating complex issues with superior, co-workers and customers in a professional manner* Proven ability to work safely in industrial environments* Familiar with and utilize proper Lock Out/ Tag Out safety procedures* Perform preventative equipment maintenance and repairs on all floor equipment, scrubbers, chariot vacuums, extractors, etc.* Respond positively to requests in a timely manner* Ability to use hand and power tools, use of scissor lifts, ladders and scaffolding. Must complete all safety, environmental and task training and or certifications. **Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:** A valid driver's license may be required for this position based on business needs. Employees required to drive as part of their job duties must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and meet company driving eligibility requirements.
