Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Maintenance Technician in California to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a range of equipment across multiple on-site facilities. The role emphasizes safe work practices, proactive maintenance, and strong customer communication.

Ideal candidates will have basic plumbing, painting, HVAC or construction exposure, plus electrical experience. Driving to client sites may be required, and compliance with MVR requirements is essential.

Qualifications

• Six months minimum experience in a company environment or equivalent experience and/or training such as basic plumbing, painting, HVAC or construction.
• Two years electrical experience minimum.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and predictive maintenance.
• Maintain maintenance logs and schedules.
• Use hand and power tools safely to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues.
• Drive to various work locations or customer sites as required.

Title:Maintenance TechJob Description:NOW HIRING: Maintenance TechnicianCompensation: $22.70-$23.70 per hourThis role will require the candidate to drive and must pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) requirements.Job OverviewThe Maintenance Technician will be responsible for safely performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in one or more fields (carpentry, paint, electrical, janitorial equipment, HVAC, vehicle/golf cart etc.).Roles & ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.Self-Starter with Leadership and problem-solving skillsPerform routine and predictive maintenancePerform general cleaning and maintains clean work areaMechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment, electrical & mechanical issues and then repairStrong customer service skillsComfortable communicating complex issues with superior, co-workers and customers in a professional mannerProven ability to work safely in industrial environmentsFamiliar with and utilize proper Lock Out/ Tag Out safety proceduresPerform preventative equipment maintenance and repairs on all floor equipment, scrubbers, chariot vacuums, extractors, etc.Respond positively to requests in a timely mannerAbility to use hand and power tools, use of scissor lifts, ladders and scaffolding.
