BrioHR Pte Ltd's Cook Valley Estates EVS Department in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a Maintenance Tech to help keep our grounds, facility and equipment safe and well‑maintained.

This full‑time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule (7:30am–4:00pm, 38 hours/week) with a pay rate of $19.10–$23.35 per hour, plus benefits and retirement savings. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, safety checks, heating/cooling service, housekeeping backup and event setup.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Prior experience as a maintenance technician.
• Must possess a valid unrestricted state of Michigan driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine maintenance and repair on facility and equipment (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical) as directed.
• Conduct safety checks of door locks, water temperatures, and other systems per procedures.
• Service heating and cooling units/systems in compliance with policies.
• Clean and maintain furnishings, fixtures and spaces in resident areas and common areas.
• Assist with grounds maintenance and occasional snow removal as needed.
• Support housekeeping as backup when required.
• Set up and take down event furniture and equipment as directed.

What You’ll Do:

The Maintenance Technician will assist in maintaining the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Join our senior living community where every day you make a difference!

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed, in accordance with established procedures.
• Perform routine safety checks of door lock systems, water temperatures, etc. as directed and in accordance with established procedures.
• Service heating and cooling units/systems, as specified by the manufacturer, and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, etc., in resident homes, clubhouse/common areas, offices etc.
• Perform occasional maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc., by cutting, trimming, policing, sweeping, removing snow and salting, etc., as necessary/directed.
• Clean floors, to include sweeping, dust mopping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing disinfecting, etc.
• Provide occasional backup support for housekeeping.
• Clean and sanitize vacant homes/apartments as assigned.
• Set up and take down tables, chairs, equipment for indoor or outdoor functions as directed.
