Job summary

Valley View Retirement Community in Pennsylvania is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team. You’ll help maintain our buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and colleagues.

If you enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and making a meaningful impact every day, we’d love to hear from you. This full-time day shift includes weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic knowledge of building maintenance, repairs, and equipment operation.
• Must have strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across the campus.
• Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner (TELS System).
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs and inspections.
• Maintain facility grounds, equipment, and common areas in safe operating condition.
• Coordinate work activities in resident living areas while providing excellent customer service.
• Report safety concerns, accidents, and equipment issues promptly.
• Follow all safety, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements.

Valley View Retirement Community is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team. In this role, you’ll help maintain our buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and team members.

What You’ll Do

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Basic knowledge of building maintenance, repairs, and equipment operation

Preferred

• Experience in maintenance, facilities management, construction, groundskeeping, or a related field
• Experience in healthcare, senior living, or residential communities
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, or general building systems
