Rochester Management is looking for skilled maintenance and grounds workers to join our maintenance team. Applicants should have a previous background in the maintenance field and have basic troubleshooting and repair skills as well as grounds and lawn care experience. Basic electrical, plumbing and general repair abilities. With our on-the-job training, employees are able to build on their abilities and further advance their technical skills by participating in our paid training classes that include heating, air conditioning, advanced electrical and plumbing repair skills.

Employees who display the skills needed and have successfully completed the probationary period will be eligible to participate in our after-hours emergency call rotation that includes company provided housing and utilities or the option for additional on call pay when openings become available.

Eligible candidates will possess/ be able to:

• Applicants MUST possess a Valid NYS Driver's License


• Reliable Transportation


• Ability to work as a team


• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions


• Participate in on-the-job training sessions


• Display Plumbing and Electrical knowledge


• General carpentry repairs including drywall, flooring


• Customer Service Skills -- interaction with other staff, tenants, and contractors


• Snow Removal in the winter months

Work hours are Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm

Requirements

Experience:

A general background in maintenance is preferred but not required. On the job training provided.

• Plumbing: 1 year (Preferred)


• Electrical: 1 year (Preferred)


• General Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred).

License/Certification:

• NYS Driver's License (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Rochester, NY 14609 (Required)
