LTD Hospitality Group has a Maintenance Technician opening at Staybridge Suites Charlottesville Airport. The technician performs scheduled maintenance in guest rooms and common areas to uphold high cleanliness and repair standards.

The role requires at least 1 year of maintenance experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work weekends and holidays. You will log work orders, follow safety procedures, and support the team to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a maintenance capacity.
• Have thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Manage one’s time to complete daily activities according to work schedule.
• Communicate effectively with guests and co-workers to convey information.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Physical strength and manual dexterity to operate equipment and perform duties.
• Meet attendance requirements with dependability.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to pass a driving record check.

Responsibilities

• Perform guest room preventive maintenance and general cleaning per guidelines.
• Utilize General Clean and Preventive Maintenance (GC/PM) checklists.
• Record and log work performed; store files and reports as per guidelines.
• Monitor progress and results through control systems.
• Remedy guest and associate requests and complaints promptly and efficiently.
• Comply with all hotel and government operating procedures.
• Inform management of any safety hazards.
• Transport guests and occasionally pick up supplies using the hotel shuttle van.
• Associates to work as a team to complete required activities for guest satisfaction.
• Attend Continuous Improvement Meetings regularly.
• Comply with Standard Operating Procedures and daily responsibilities.
• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Maintenance Technician.

The Maintenance Technician performs scheduled cleaning and maintenance in guest rooms and throughout the hotel to ensure hotel is maintained according to the highest standards of cleanliness and repair.

• Perform the guest room preventive maintenance and general clean program on scheduled system per guidelines.

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities (KSAs)

• Excellent attention to detail

• Must be able to pass a driving record check
