Job summary

Resolute Road Hospitality's Hampton Inn & Suites Boise Spectrum is seeking a Maintenance Tech to uphold guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. You will perform routine maintenance, complete repairs, and collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to ensure timely responses and proactive care.

The role requires understanding of building systems, the ability to work independently or with a team, and a commitment to safety and service excellence in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous maintenance or hospitality experience preferred.
• Laundry equipment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance and repair tasks across the hotel's interior and exterior areas.
• Walk the property regularly to inspect cleanliness, condition, and safety.
• Maintain working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and shuttle vehicle systems.
• Respond to guest service requests and reported issues with professionalism and efficiency.
• Support pool and spa maintenance, including chemical testing and accurate logbook upkeep.
• Assist with inspections, preventative maintenance routines, and safety compliance tasks.
• Maintain clean and safe maintenance spaces and tools; monitor inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Report and escape equipment failures, unsafe conditions, or guest-related concerns.
• Perform cleaning and upkeep in public areas such as hallways, stairwells, elevators, and service corridors.
• Support shuttle transportation needs when required (valid driver's license required).
• Follow company and brand standards, OSHA safety practices, and local codes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Role

As a Maintenance Tech, you'll perform routine maintenance, complete repair work, and support the upkeep of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• General understanding of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing

• Familiarity with the safe use of hand tools, power equipment, and cleaning chemicals

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred
