Position Description

Position: Maintenance Team Member (Full-Time, Non-Exempt)

Compensation: Hourly Rate, plus Benefits and Bonus eligibility

Location: Oak Creek - 109 Oak Creek Way | New Braunfels, TX 78130

Summary

The Maintenance Team Member is responsible for protecting, maintaining, and enhancing the value of the community while maximizing the living experience for residents and the community. This involves resolving resident maintenance issues efficiently and expertly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the facility and grounds according to community objectives.
• Follow safety practices for operation, maintenance, and repair of all equipment, complying with health, safety, OSHA, and record-keeping standards.
• Respond promptly to work orders, including after-hours requests, participating in the on-call rotation.
• Inspect public areas and resident apartments to ensure maintenance standards are met.
• Adhere to record-keeping requirements for air conditioning, refrigeration, pools, and spas as per regulations.
• Keep storage areas, tools, and equipment secure.
• Participate in training as required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Excellent customer service, attention to detail, and basic maintenance skills.
• Knowledge of pool service and maintenance required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs and work 8-12 hour shifts standing.
• Availability for weekends and on-call emergencies.

Work Environment

Work involves both indoor and outdoor settings, with exposure to weather and outdoor elements. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.

Physical Demands
