The Maintenance Team Member is responsible for maintaining the condition of manufacturing equipment, including repairing or replacing failed components and performing preventative maintenance when applicable. This role involves developing short and long-term repairs aimed at improving quality and efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform repair and maintenance of production equipment according to blueprints and procedures.
  • Install and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment based on knowledge, manufacturer guidelines, and on-the-job training.
  • Diagnose malfunctions in machinery and equipment per manufacturer guidelines and training.
  • Use basic test equipment such as multi-meters, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems.
  • Reduce downtime by working efficiently and performing root cause analysis.
  • Commit to safety and quality standards.
  • Monitor safety, quality, and productivity of machinery and equipment.
  • Establish effective working relationships with team members.

Qualifications

  • High school Diploma or GED required.
  • College or technical coursework is a plus.
  • At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance.
  • Experience with high and low voltage electricity is a plus.
