The Maintenance Team Member is responsible for maintaining the condition of manufacturing equipment, including repairing or replacing failed components and performing preventive maintenance. This role involves developing short- and long-term repairs aimed at improving quality and efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform all repair and maintenance of production equipment according to blueprints and procedures, including:

• Installing and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment based on knowledge, manufacturer guidelines, and on-the-job training.
• Installing and troubleshooting electronic equipment based on knowledge, manufacturer guidelines, and on-the-job training.
• Diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment per manufacturer guidelines and training.

Utilize knowledge, guidelines, and training to perform activities safely and effectively.

Use basic test equipment such as multi-meters, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems.

Reduce downtime by working efficiently and performing root cause analysis.

Commit to safety and quality standards.

Monitor safety, quality, and productivity of machinery and equipment.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED required.
• College or technical coursework is a plus.
• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance.
• Experience with high and low voltage electricity is a plus.
• Experience as an independent maintenance mechanic or electrician is a plus.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing is a plus.
