Position Details

Position: Maintenance Team Member (Full-Time, Non-Exempt)

Compensation: Hourly Rate, plus Benefits and Bonus eligibility

Summary

The Maintenance Team Member is responsible for protecting, maintaining, and enhancing the community's value while maximizing residents' living experience by resolving maintenance issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the facility and grounds according to community objectives.
• Operate, maintain, and repair all facility equipment safely, complying with health, safety, and OSHA standards.
• Respond to work orders promptly, including after-hours on-call requests, and participate in the on-call rotation.
• Inspect public areas and resident apartments to ensure proper maintenance and standards.
• Follow record keeping requirements for air conditioning, refrigeration, pools, and spas as per regulations.
• Keep storage areas, tools, and equipment secure.
• Participate in Cardinal U training as required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Excellent customer service, attention to detail, and basic maintenance skills.
• Knowledge of pool service and maintenance.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs and work 8-12 hour shifts standing.
• Availability for weekends and on-call emergencies.

Preferred Experience

• Maintenance, Maintenance Technician, Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, Service Technician, HVAC, Lead Technician, Maintenance Engineer.

Work Environment

Work involves inside and outside environments, exposure to weather, odors, and landscape hazards. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.

Physical Demands

Requires using hands, standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and working in various weather conditions. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. and have good vision capabilities. Occasional travel may be required.
