Job summary
Tremco Construction Products Group seeks a Team Leader (Maintenance) to coordinate daily technician activities, mentor staff, and drive continuous improvement in the department. Responsibilities include troubleshooting complex maintenance issues, performing preventive maintenance, and validating maintenance work with accurate records.
The role requires 4–7 years of related experience, experience with 480V 3-phase systems, and proficiency in PLCs, hydraulic and air systems.
Qualifications
- Four to seven years related experience and/or training.
- Experience with 480-volt 3 phase electricity.
- Ability to troubleshoot electric, air, and hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of lockout/tagout, arc flash, confined space entry and hot work permit.
Responsibilities
- Supports and validates the work of maintenance technicians by coordinating maintenance work and providing direction.
- Mentor and train new maintenance technicians.
- Troubleshoots complex maintenance problems with little or no assistance.
- Perform preventive maintenance and work order audits to ensure task completion and process improvements.
- Responds to service calls for production needs.
- Follow instructions from the maintenance supervisor and provide updates on maintenance task progress.
- Manage inventory by receiving, stocking, and requesting maintenance parts as needed.
- Ensure compliance by maintaining accurate maintenance records.
- Participate in daily tier meetings and planning sessions.
- Identify and recommend process improvements for maintenance procedures and equipment performance.
