Job summary

Wasatch Property Management, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Team Lead to guide our maintenance staff across apartment communities in Thornton, CO.

You will oversee a team, plan and execute turns, and ensure fast, quality responses to service requests to keep resident satisfaction high. The role requires hands-on maintenance expertise, leadership capabilities, and strong communication with residents and teammates.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on general maintenance experience.
• EPA Certification with 3–5 years related experience a plus.
• Skill in planning, delegating, and coordinating the work of others.
• Analytical problem solver, developing alternatives and implementing effective strategies.
• Ability to operate various hand and power tools.
• Experience in repairing and/or maintaining electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, heating and air systems, pools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the team of Maintenance Team Members.
• Schedule and complete turns.
• Ensure occupied apartment service requests are completed promptly (within hours).
• Manage inventory of ready apartments to support marketing and leasing efforts.
• Inspect ready apartments for move-in quality.
• Lead maintenance initiatives and foster a positive work environment.
