Novonesis in Madison, WI seeks a Maintenance Team Lead to oversee repairs, preventative maintenance, and PM programs for cGMP equipment and facilities. You will coordinate across shifts, train staff, and manage contractor support.

The role requires an associates degree or equivalent, 5+ years in FDA-regulated manufacturing, and willingness to work overtime and varying shifts. Candidates should understand GMP, P&IDs, and PLC/automation concepts.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 5+ years in FDA-regulated manufacturing, preferably dietary supplements or pharmaceuticals.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
• Knowledge of GMP, inspection guidelines, sanitation, dietary supplement regulations, food regulations, and product safety.
• Strong communication, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work well in a diverse team.
• Ability to read and interpret control wiring and diagrams for PLC/Automation equipment, P&IDs, and process layouts.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis and other problem-solving methods.
• Understanding of engineering science and technology applications in production.
• Knowledge of materials, production processes, quality control, and cost optimization.
• Willing to perform other duties as required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinating maintenance and repair work; prepare 7-day schedules and assignments.
• Coordinating maintenance between shifts.
• Developing and maintaining the preventative maintenance system and PM program.
• Creating and maintaining PM schedules per equipment and start-up notes.
• Training maintenance staff and supporting ongoing education.
• Arranging third-party contractor support as needed.
• Preparing and securing estimates and cost quotes.
• Inspecting or testing damaged parts and flag repairs.
• Recording maintenance activities in cGMP records.
• Managing inventory and replenishing machine parts and supplies.
• Responding to alarms and documenting activities.
• Maintaining a clean, safe work area.
• Covering vacations and absences for all shifts.
• Documenting rebuilds as Detailed Job Plans.
• Writing, reviewing and approving WIs and SOPs.
• Creating PMs.
