Simpson Strong‑Tie Company Inc. in Gallatin, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician Lead to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment and building systems.

The role includes scheduling work, coaching, and mentoring team members on the 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM shift with overtime as needed. You will lead a team of maintenance techs, review blueprints and electrical diagrams, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering reliable equipment performance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• PIT certification required at hire.
• 6–10 years of related experience; leadership preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical/hydraulic diagrams.
• Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the work of the technicians.
• Provide hands-on training.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems.
• Coach and mentor technicians.
• Work on special projects as necessary.
