Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie is looking for a Maintenance Technician Lead in Gallatin, TN. The role oversees day-to-day maintenance of plant equipment and building systems, staffing performance, and project execution.

You will manage technicians, provide hands-on coaching, and troubleshoot a range of equipment. The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 6–10 years of related experience, and PIT certification on hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• PIT Certification required at hire.
• 6-10 years of related experience; leadership preferred.
• Reads blueprints and electrical/hydraulic diagrams.
• Computer skills for stocking, timekeeping and work orders.
• Knowledge of OSHA rules and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage the work of the technicians.
• Provide hands-on training to staff.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems.
• Coach and mentor technicians.
• Work on special projects as needed.
