Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the Maintenance team at our McKinney, TX facility. You will prioritize and execute maintenance and repair work across production and facility equipment, improving uptime, capacity, safety, and efficiency in the plant.

Responsibilities include planning department work with Production and Lean teams, developing preventive maintenance programs, and managing capital projects with contractors. Travel is 10% and relocation is not provided.

Qualifications

• Technician certification or associate degree or equivalent training is required.
• Knowledge of PLC and HMI configuration and programming is preferred.
• At least two years of experience managing others is preferred.
• At least three years of experience managing large-scale projects with new technologies.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and specifications is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected.
• Knowledge of automation software is preferred.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems in an industrial environment is required.
• Thorough knowledge of electrical and electronic components and equipment is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritize department work with Production, Warehouse, and Lean teams.
• Develop and implement reliability plans to increase uptime.
• Lead vendor and contractor negotiations for scope, cost, quality, and schedule.
• Plan and execute capital, maintenance, and repair projects on schedule.
• Lead, motivate, and develop employees with clear goals and accountability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
