Frymaster, a Welbilt brand, invites applications for a Maintenance Tech Lead in Shreveport, LA. The role leads the maintenance team under the Maintenance Manager and oversees the development and execution of preventive maintenance and TPM programs for facility equipment.

Based in Shreveport, you will manage HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and safety compliance while coordinating overtime and on-call coverage. Competitive hourly wage plus benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification and electrical training required.
• 5-8 years relevant maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree optional.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance team under the Maintenance Manager.
• Develop, implement and continually improve the machine preventive maintenance plan.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve a TPM program engaging the entire factory population.
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems; ensure life-safety compliance.
• Maintain plant security, fire protection and on-call teams; ensure facilities operation excellence.

As Maintenance Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading the maintenance team under the command of the Maintenance Manager.

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, this position is based in Shreveport, LA*.

Duties & Responsibilities:

People

• Have excellent attendance, safety, and work record
• Multitask between all Three Locations
• Have excellent attendance (17.75 or less points), safety, and work record. Cannot have any written corrective action within the last 90 days at time of application.

Safety

• Ensure all life safety requirements are 100% for facilities
• Create and implement Lockout Tag out procedures
• Ensure all Facilities are Clean and Sanitized
• Ensure all Osha Regulations are followed
• Wear all the required personal protective equipment.
• Report issues to responsible parties.

Quality

• Conduct periodic inspections to determine maintenance work required.
• Maintain all the equipment necessary to perform the work.

Delivery

• Develop, implement and continuously improve the machine Preventative Maintenance plan.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve a comprehensive TPM program that engages the entire factory population.
• Responsible for plant security and fire protection and facilities operation excellence; manages the security, fire and on call teams.
• Develops and implements a Preventative Maintenance & TPM program that will improve equipment
• Maintain HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical systems
• Landscaping 8700 and 5489

QualificationsEducation & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent (If applicable: add college level degrees here)
• 5-8 years relevant experience

Skills & Abilities:

• HVAC Certified
• Electrical Trained

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work at heights,
• Ability to work mandatory overtime, flexible hours, and/or overtime on short notice.
• Factory Setting – climate-controlled warehouse.
