Job summary

Country Place Senior Living and Memory Care of Livingston is seeking a maintenance professional to support a senior living campus in Livingston, TX. The role involves hands-on building upkeep, equipment checks, and collaboration with administration to ensure a safe, well-maintained environment.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting systems, performing minor repairs, and assisting during renovations. A valid driver license and experience in commercial/residential maintenance are required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in maintenance for commercial or residential buildings.
• Knowledge of building materials and tools and their use in maintenance and repair.
• Working knowledge of building structures and systems (e.g., boilers, electrical, HVAC).
• Valid Driver License is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks and filling gaps on walls.
• Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues.
• Install appliances and equipment as needed.
• Garden/yard upkeep and trash collection.
• Replace light bulbs and conduct routine maintenance tasks.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g., ventilation).
• Check safety systems (e.g., fire alarms).
• Collaborate with Administrator during renovations.
• Report issues to Administrator.
• Weekly transportation tasks as needed.

Skills

• 1-2 Years of experience working in maintenance capacity for commercial/residential buildings.
• Thorough knowledge of building materials and tools as well as their use in maintenance and repair.
• Working knowledge of building structures and systems (i.e.: steam and hot water boilers, electrical systems, air conditioning equipment, etc.).
• Valid Driver License
