Job summary

Ormat Technologies, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the mechanical maintenance team and manage preventative and predictive programs. You will plan and schedule activities, coordinate with operations and plant managers, and oversee contractors while ensuring safety standards and budget adherence.

You will also monitor the CMMS, drive improvements, and support project teams as needed, including traveling to other sites as required.

Qualifications

• The ability to work at a computer and computer monitor for long periods.
• The ability to lift 50 pounds periodically.
• Ability to climb ladders and work from elevated platforms and walkways.
• Must wear self-contained breathing apparatus when required.
• Must wear fire retardant clothing provided by Ormat.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and directs mechanical maintenance activities and technicians.
• Plans and schedules maintenance with Operations and Plant Managers.
• Determines equipment and labor requirements for repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinates work with mechanical contractors and prepares estimates for materials and labor.
• Manages the computerized maintenance management system and schedules work orders.
• Maintains preventative and predictive maintenance inspections and calibrations.
• Assists in planning site maintenance budgets and enforces safety programs.
• Builds contractor/vendor relationships and supports project teams as needed.
• Performs other duties as directed.
