Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead its plant maintenance department in a growing family-owned packaging operation. The role focuses on leadership, planning, coaching, and maintenance administration with some hands-on work, taking ownership of a small team and driving reliability and uptime.

The ideal candidate will develop technicians, enhance preventive maintenance programs, and coordinate with vendors and leadership to ensure a safe, productive facility.

Qualifications

• Maintenance leadership in corrugated, printing, or converting manufacturing environments.
• Direct experience with corrugated converting equipment.
• Experience coaching and developing maintenance technicians.
• Strong preventive maintenance planning and scheduling experience.
• Knowledge of maintenance tracking systems and parts inventory.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop three maintenance technicians.
• Assign work and coordinate maintenance coverage.
• Evaluate and improve the existing preventive maintenance program.
• Increase PM completion and improve afternoon maintenance planning.
• Manage maintenance schedules, work orders, records, and equipment documentation.
• Improve spare-parts inventory organization and availability.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, production, and plant leadership.
• Proactively identify equipment concerns before they cause downtime.
• Support equipment upgrades, installations, and facility improvements.
• Promote a safe, accountable, and proactive maintenance culture.
