Job summary

Standard Steel is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance for the shop(s) and ensure safe working conditions. You will train, troubleshoot, plan, and schedule preventive and predictive maintenance, while directing hourly maintenance teams and coordinating with Operations.

Responsibilities include safety meetings, incident reporting with root cause analysis, and restoring equipment after breakdowns.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate proficiency in mechanical and/or electrical fields.
• High school diploma required; technical associate degree preferred.
• At least 5 years in industrial maintenance supervision is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hold regular Safety Meetings with Team Members.
• Complete Incident Reports with root-cause analysis.
• Plan and schedule preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Direct Maintenance Team Members and coordinate with Operations.
• Restore equipment to operable condition after breakdowns.
• Prepare weekly reports and review with leadership.
• Utilize Vendors and Contractors as needed to achieve goals.
• Maintain PM schedules using CMMS and document failures.
