Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor at the Albany Lumber facility in Albany, Georgia. You will lead maintenance activities, mentor staff, and coordinate with safety, environmental, and operations teams to meet KPI targets and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires experience supervising in a manufacturing setting, strong reliability knowledge, and proficiency with CMMS tools. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent leadership experience is required, with opportunities to grow

Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing, industrial, military environments.
Experience directly supervising others in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
Knowledge of reliability concepts and precision maintenance techniques.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor employees to apply Principle Based Management.
Improve safety, environmental, health, and compliance by identifying hazards and risks.
Staff, develop, lead, and accountability for maintenance department results including PM, lubrication, and reliability.
Drive continuous improvement and maintain culture of ownership aligned with safety and operations vision.
Manage weekly schedules to optimize maintenance craft utilization and oversee PM and precision maintenance execution.
