Job summary

Avanath Capital seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to ensure high-quality move-in, timely service, and exemplary curb appeal for our residents. You will lead assigned staff and vendors, collaborating with the Community Manager to maintain properties and deliver exceptional customer service.

This role emphasizes professionalism, resident relations, safety adherence, and proactive maintenance planning across multiple buildings. On-call and weekend availability are required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• One year of supervisory experience required.
• Expertise in plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, electrical, and carpentry work is required.
• HVAC and CPO certifications are highly desired.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Very strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Solid interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Must be available for on-call and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates customer services skills by treating residents and others with respect and responding to questions and complaints.
• Projects a favorable image of the community to achieve property objectives.
• Ensure consistency, follow-up, and follow through in dealing with residents on all matters.
• Enforce community policies delegated by the Community Manager.
• Assist and complete work orders and routine upkeep, diagnose defects, and make repairs per safety standards.
