Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie is seeking an Associate Maintenance Technician in McKinney, TX. You will troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on metal stamping equipment and related systems.

Responsibilities include installing service for electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and robotic systems; coordinating parts and vendors; and developing training materials. Travel is not required.

Qualifications

• Associates in technology related field preferred.
• PIT Certification required.
• 7 years in industrial or commercial environments is preferred.
• Own tools must be provided.

Responsibilities

• Install and service electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic systems (80%).
• Miscellaneous repairs including parts pickup, vendor coordination, and training material development (5%).
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, hydraulic and mechanical equipment (5%).
• Perform preventative maintenance on stamping presses and supporting equipment (5%).
• Perform routine industrial and facility maintenance (5%).
