Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in McKinney, TX, to lead the maintenance team across production and facility equipment. The role focuses on reliability, safety, and efficiency, with 10% travel.

You will prioritize work, develop preventive and predictive maintenance, and manage projects from start to finish, including vendor negotiations and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience managing others.
• Three years of experience managing large-scale capital projects involving new technologies and equipment.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of controls or automation software is preferred.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems in an industrial environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritize department work with Production, Warehouse, and Lean teams to improve efficiency.
• Develop and implement reliability plans to increase uptime; assign work with clear ownership and deadlines.
• Monitor work through completion; review completed orders for maintenance and equipment changes.
• Maintain maintenance records, inventory, warranties, and plant certifications.
• Lead projects; negotiate with vendors/contractors and manage scope, cost, quality, and schedule.
• Lead, motivate, and develop employees with clear goals and accountability.
• Support other business priorities as needed.
