The location in Rothschild, (Wisconsin, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Maintenance Supervisor- Pulp. This job is full-time permanent.
Are you a hands-on maintenance leader who thrives in complex, continuous-process environments? Do you excel at leading teams, improving equipment reliability, and partnering with operations to keep critical systems running safely and efficiently? If so, we want you on our team. As the Maintenance Supervisor - Pulp Mill Operations, you will lead the mechanical maintenance function supporting all pulp mill process areas. This role is responsible for daily leadership of maintenance crews, driving safety and reliability improvements, reducing unplanned downtime, and supporting production and quality objectives. You will work closely with Production, Engineering, Reliability, and Planning to ensure safe, cost-effective, and reliable pulp mill operations.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred; Associate's degree in Mechanical Technology or Industrial Maintenance with equivalent experience will also be considered.
Including 3-5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience, preferably in pulp & paper, heavy manufacturing, or unionized environments.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams through operational change, process improvements, and high-demand production periods. Strong skills in coaching, mentoring, and team development.
Solid understanding of mechanical systems, preventive and predictive maintenance practices, and safety regulations. Familiarity with reliability engineering tools such as RCA, Lean, DMAIC, and FMEA is a plus.
Proficiency with MS Office; experience using CMMS (SAP preferred).
Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities; ability to balance operational demands with team development and strategic priorities.
5+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. Experience with condition monitoring or PdM tools (vibration analysis, thermography) is desirable.
