Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a property maintenance technician to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work across grounds, buildings, and common areas, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality in a Garden-style community.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, making-ready units, inspecting contractors, maintaining inventory, and supporting budget planning, with rotating on-call schedule and regular hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must own hand tools unless prohibited by state law; skilled with hand and power tools.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills for residents.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects to meet safety and code requirements.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors for quality and adherence to standards.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance parts and tools within budget.
• Complete monthly preventive maintenance per Policy and Procedure Manual.
• Assist in budget development for repairs and capital projects.
