Job summary

Jones Dairy Farm, a family owned and operated business for over 135 years, is seeking a 1st Shift Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and ensure reliable operation of equipment and facilities at our Wisconsin facility.

The role requires directing maintenance activities, enforcing safety standards, and coordinating with management on purchases and improvements while supporting a team in a high-demand production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or 5 years of maintenance experience.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• This position requires a high level of confidentiality, discretion, and good judgment.
• Must be able to meet deadlines and maintain regulatory accuracy.
• Strong computer skills with a high level of proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule maintenance mechanics.
• Ensure site safety and security.
• Assist with purchases, installations, and improvements of equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and practices.
• Maintain and improve facilities and equipment.
• Participate in Process Safety Management program.
• Participate as an active member of the HAZMAT team.
• Assist in CMMS functions.
• Supervise and direct mechanics as needed.
• Work 10-hour days and 6–7 day weeks as required.
• Handle special projects promptly.
