Job summary
Dana is a global leader in engineered driveline, sealing, and thermal-management technologies serving passenger and commercial markets. This maintenance technician role supports field and plant operations, troubleshooting PLCs, electrical systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic components to keep production lines running efficiently.
Responsibilities include interpreting schematics, wiring diagnostics, installing conduit, and operating forklifts while maintaining CMMS records.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or 5 years of verifiable related experience in mechanical/electrical/electronics
- Experience with CMMS preferred
- Proficient in PLC troubleshooting, wiring, and control panels
- Willingness to travel for training and overtime when required
Responsibilities
- Maintain an efficient work schedule across all shifts
- Troubleshoot, program, and document PLC control systems
- Interpret electrical schematics and troubleshoot wiring circuits
- Repair and install pneumatic/hydraulic components and systems
- Inspect and repair wiring, conduit, and switchgear
- Operate forklifts up to 30 tons and assist with rigging equipment
- Learn and maintain CMMS for maintenance records
- Capable of field repairs and modifying installation as needed
