Job summary

CRH is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead and coordinate the maintenance workforce at the Napoleon, OH facility. You will ensure safe and efficient execution of all machine and facility maintenance tasks, working closely with production and engineering to minimize downtime.

We are looking for hands-on leaders with 3+ years in plastics manufacturing or equivalent, strong problem-solving skills, and a track record of safety compliance. Relocation assistance is available.”

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in plastic manufacturing or similar industry.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to coach, develop and lead a team.
• Experience supervising maintenance operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and communicate daily maintenance tasks for Technicians.
• Review compliance to work orders and report status to management.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and PO tracking.
• Ensure spare parts lists and equipment compatibility for reliability upgrades.
• Coordinate with production for equipment functionality and downtime minimization.
• Develop standardized maintenance techniques and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Schedule preventative and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Address safety concerns and enforce safety regulations for staff and contractors.
• Review safety permits and ensure proper training for new employees.
• Oversee contractors and ensure adherence to safety and ops procedures.
• Respond to weekend calls and manage weekly shift coverage and time-off.
• Maintain attendance data and payroll-related schedules.
