Covia is seeking a dynamic Maintenance Supervisor for the Best Sand location in Chardon, OH. This role will supervise, schedule, and direct maintenance work on mobile and stationary equipment, plant buildings, and facilities, coordinating with other supervisors to meet daily maintenance requirements.

The successful candidate will lead safety initiatives, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure adherence to safety guidelines while driving the maintenance program to achieve high equipment availability

Qualificações

• 2-5 years of relevant maintenance experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Safety Leadership through regular safety inspections of all operating areas.
• Schedule and direct maintenance work; coordinate with other supervisors.
• Coordinate day-to-day work with outside contractors for maintenance and capital projects.
• Implement the Maintenance Program to achieve 90%+ availability.
• Distribute work orders and oversee jobs from start to finish; ensure quality and timely repairs.
• Close out work orders daily with man-hours and materials used.
• Maintain open communications with subordinates, superiors, and peers; provide written reports.
