Job summary

Software Placement Group, SPG is recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor for a large Denison, IA manufacturing facility to lead 1st and 2nd shift maintenance teams, oversee preventive maintenance, and drive equipment reliability across the plant.

You will train leads, develop KPI reports, ensure USDA compliance, and collaborate with Production to minimize downtime while maintaining safety and quality standards. The role offers a competitive salary of $80K–$100K plus bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
• Experience leading training, coaching, or mentoring staff.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians on predictive and preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Train employees on proper methods and safety procedures.
• Supervise maintenance systems, processes, and documentation for high performance.
• Coordinate maintenance scheduling with Production to address repairs.
• Develop and implement maintenance systems (PM, PdM, TPM, SOPs, Safety).
• Provide long-term and day-to-day support for troubleshooting and failures.
• Develop and maintain KPIs and report status to management.
• Ensure compliance with USDA regulations and accurate records.
