Job summary

Sappi Cloquet is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Engineer to join a safety‑driven mill team with a long history of pulp and paper making. The role reports to the Maintenance Superintendent and is a key member of the management team, focused on safety, reliability, and cost control.

You will keep BOMs current, review parts for inventory levels, develop task lists for new and existing equipment, maximize wrench time, and assign work to the maintenance workforce while coordinating with Safety,

• Experience coordinating maintenance activities and leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• As a key member of the maintenance team, lead safety initiatives that ensure an accident-free, productive workforce.
• Plan daily and long-range maintenance work with operating personnel to meet business goals.
• Maintain productivity with detailed planning and organized work packages in a CMMS.
• Review parts for inventory levels and develop task lists for all equipment.
• Assigns all work and redirects to the maintenance workforce.
