Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor in Los Angeles to lead the maintenance team and oversee building upkeep and grounds. The role involves scheduling daily tasks, preparing vacant units, and ensuring safety standards are met.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, strong communication skills, and prior supervisory experience. AMC offers competitive pay and benefits, with on-site responsibilities at CA properties.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical knowledge required.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with internal and external contacts.
• Experience supervising maintenance staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and schedule daily maintenance tasks including preparing vacant units for occupancy and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with interviewing, screening, and making recommendations for service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel in conjunction with the manager.
• Assist in training of service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel.
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Improve maintenance processes and methods.
• Maintain MSDS sheets and replacement logs.
• Ensure OSHA safety policies are followed and inventory supplies are managed.
• Be available for on-call and 24-hour service responses.
• Handle lock-outs due to evictions and coordinate vendor work.
• Remove snow and ice as needed.
