Job summary

Brookfield Properties is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a high-complexity, multi-unit residential property in Charlotte, NC. You will supervise and coordinate maintenance staff, ensuring timely repairs of mechanical systems, HVAC, electrical and plumbing, and oversee vendor bids and contractor work.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 3–4 years of experience in commercial or multi-unit properties, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Computer and smartphone literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, coordinates and performs maintenance for a multi-unit residential property of higher complexity.
• Repairs and maintains mechanical equipment including HVAC systems; diagnoses problems and replaces parts.
• Performs carpentry tasks such as installing doors and repairing jambs, moldings, doors, locks and hinges.
• Performs electrical duties including inspecting lighting, wiring and power circuits; replaces faulty switches/ballasts.
• Performs plumbing duties including unclogging sinks and toilets; repairs fixtures and pipes.
